Matthew Alfano - Workshops

Matthew Alfano is no stranger to the arts. As a child and in adolescence, Matthew performed in numerous musicals and dramas. Some of his stage credits include ‘Curley’ from John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men,” ‘Mike Dillard’ from Stud Terkel’s “Working” and ‘Jigger Craigen’ in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel.” Also an enthusiast of blues and rock music genres, Matthew enjoys playing guitar, and sharing music with family and friends. Mr. Alfano’s collaboration with Music and More provides guitar and vocal entertainment for seniors the first Saturday of every month at Elm Terrace Garden, in Lansdale, P.A. Matthew looks forward to continuing his education in the Greater Philadelphia area, and continuing a relationship with music, art, and the community. Matthew Alfano is a newly settled Pennsylvania resident from Buffalo, N.Y. Since 2011 Matthew has worked in the local community with the Philadelphia Mental Health Center, providing behavioral health services to children and families with Autism spectrum disorders. Matthew is a graduate of the State University of Purchase at New York where he studied his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and minored in Early Childhood Development.
